Jen and Mo met in a small apartment at UCI almost 7 years ago! Mo was practicing for a charity concert in the living room with Jen's housemate while Jen was napping in her bedroom. She was awoken by his singing and decided to go outside to check out the commotion. She decided she didn't need to sleep when she saw a cute Filipino guitarist. Instead, she stayed in the living room area to microwave an empty bowl and re-wash the dishes lol!

Mo was surprised because he was told that no one was home and was embarrassed that he was singing loudly in the apartment. Mo was nervous to talk to Jen and couldn’t even look her in the eye. He barely struck up a conversation and when he left the apartment, he bowed awkwardly saying goodbye. Eventually, Mo courageously friend requested Jen on Facebook. A few dates, dances, and duets later, they fell in love.

Since then, Mo has added humor and patience to Jen's life, while Jen added color and excitement to Mo's. They can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together as the Castros and to have you all be a part of their journey.
