Our Story

Stephen and Jena’s story began on a sunny Saturday in Astoria, thanks to a mutual friend, Kevin, who brought them together. After exchanging numbers, they went on a series of unforgettable adventures around New York City and Upstate. Their dates were filled with exploring museums, eating at new restaurants, going to local concerts, and hiking the Hudson Valley and the Adirondacks. During this first year of dating, Stephen and Jena decided to go to Lake George, NY, to hike the Adirondacks during peak fall season. Every year thereafter, they went to a quieter lake in the Adirondacks called Schroon Lake. Over the years, they traveled to many destinations like Paris, London, and Hawaii, but they always cherished their annual trip to the Adirondacks for fall hiking, making it one of their favorite traditions. Last year, on 10.21.23, in a little gazebo on the lake, Stephen got on one knee. Jena and Stephen hope you will join them on 04.27.25 to celebrate their love.
