Jenai was a freshman at Grand Valley and played on the basketball team with Tim’s sister Bailey. Tim was a junior and played basketball at Lake Superior State. Met for the first time after GVSU played at Lake State.

Dated briefly in 2018, broke up but remained good friends and stayed in contact whenever Tim traveled to Grand Rapids for family and friends.

After both graduating college, met up for another St. Patty’s celebration. Realized around this point we both wanted to try the relationship again.

Spent a lot of time together in the few months before Jenai started PA school

Jenai moved to WV for PA school. Tim moved to Bay City to pursue a new career. Tim made plenty of weekend trips to West Virginia over the next year.
