How We Met
November 2, 2022
We got set up on a blind date by our mutual friends! We went out as a group for froyo and then played games back at the apartment. Our friends failed to specify who was on a date with who...but Blake insisted on paying for me and that quickly settled it!
The Second First Date
April 2023
I ghosted Blake for months (he will not let me live that down) and I somehow convinced him to forgive me! After a couple of game nights, we went on our "second first date" (also froyo...even though neither of us really like it haha) and this time Blake didn't scare me off!
May 2, 2023
After a humiliating pickle ball date (we'll let you guess who lost), Blake asked me to be his girlfriend! We've been MADLY in love ever since ;)
Some Things We Love Doing Together
Big Jud's has been monumental in our dating life, we became regulars over the summer we started dating, Blake would get off work and we would head down to Archer for the WORLD FAMOUS HICKORY BURGER and so. many. fries. *drooling*
We love going to country concerts on campus together!
We love adventuring through Idaho and Oregon together, cliff jumping and finding waterfalls and going on beautiful hikes! Over the summer, I got to see Blake's hometown in Oregon for the first time and pick wild blackberries! Blake knows I love adventures and is always so good about planning fun things to go see and explore.
The Proposal!
December 2, 2023
Blake planned a snowshoeing outing at one of our favorite places and arranged for a friend to secretly hike in ahead of us and record the whole thing.
We hiked in the prettiest snowfall and then Blake got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! I said yes ;)
