George and Jeneh met at brookside bar and restaurant in aug. 2016! The first night they met was going great until they realized her team, the Seattle Seahawks and his team, the New York Jets were going to be playing each other that season. Both passionate about their teams the conversation quickly escalated into a rivalry. The next day Jeneh reached out to apologize for being so intense. The apology quickly turned into a first date and into a relationship.
A year later the talks of marriage and possible children had been in the works for the near future when Jeneh discovered she was already pregnant.
Their first son together, Connor David Marquez was born on March 19, 2018. Connor made their family complete. With so much joy and love running through their home, George asked Jeneh to be his wife.
We exchanged wedding vows on October 26th 2018. It was a very small and private event but we didn’t get to share that moment with everyone we love. We are so excited to celebrate 1 year of marriage and acknowledge our commitment with all of our friends and family! Please come join us ring in our first year of marriage!
