Our Wedding

We have known each other for many years from camping at Sacandaga lake, in passing.. In 2016 there was a fishing tournament I was in ( of course I won), and the weigh in was at Sport Island pub. We both looked up at each other, and it was instant sparks. I was in denial.. He asked if I would like a drink and I shut him down with a no thank you and left. I couldn’t believe this feeling I was feeling, teenage butterflies.. Then all of a sudden, Rick was showing up to camp every weekend (I never saw him come up so much before). He made his way over to my parents camp site, and he was the life of the party. Shots were going around to everyone. Whelp I think he was feeling those shots, and didn’t realize how loud he was. Out loud “hey can I get your number”, I instantly was like “umm what, no!”. This was apparently a man who didn’t like taking no as an answer.. He came by every weekend. And before you knew it, nights were ending at 5am with just the 2 of us around the fire. I guess you can say I finally gave him my number. August 2016 he asked me out on a date… He showed up with flowers in hand, he took me to Paolo Lombardi’s (he called to make sure they had gluten free option before making a reservation), we ended the night at a wine bar. He went to reach for my hand to hold as we walked out (thank god for dresses with pockets! Lol) And every day after we saw each other. We couldn’t get enough of each other’s company. He would pick me up on lunch and we grab coffee, everyday! You can say we really liked each other.. Here we are 6 years after, with many bumps along the way. But we made it! We didn’t give up on each other. Our love is stronger then it’s ever been, and we would love to share our “I do’s” with all of you!

Melissa has been my best friend for over 30 years. We grew up together and I moved at the age of 12, but that didn’t stop our friendship. Many many sleep overs, all the way up to adulthood. We always pick up where we left off.

Char Char! Another friendship I treasure, about 30 years. You can say we act like your typical sisters but not related. I can say we don’t argue like sisters as much like we did. Lol. We grew together us we grew wiser and learned to cherish the ones close. Now we sit back and watch our young ones play and argue together. History repeats
