When is the RSVP deadline?
Due the delayed delivery of most of the invitations, we have extended the RSVP deadline to Sunday, September 29th. We hope this will give most guests the time they need to confirm attendance. For questions or late confirmations, please reach out to Jeniece Pierron at 210-687-2721 as soon as possible.
Where is the venue located?
Our venue, Wild Roots Getaways and Gatherings, is located at 10201 FM 86 Lockhart, TX 78644.
What is the desired dress code?
A semi-formal dress code. Suits are welcomed. For footwear, the ceremony will be outside, so please wear footwear that will be comfortable for a walk short to the ceremony site and minimal grass contact.
What will your wedding-day timeline look like?
Ceremony starts at 4:00 pm, followed by family portraits and cocktail hour at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm, followed by toasts, cake cutting, and reception to follow at 7:30 pm. Wedding day timeline to subject to change but we will do our best to keep our guests updated on what to expect! (All times are noted in CT)
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outside on natural terrain. Following the ceremony, a short, 1-2 minute walk with be required to reach the outdoor (covered and paved) cocktail and reception area, and the indoor dinner hall.
What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
We're so excited to share the taste of Lockhart / Austin BBQ with our guests in attendance this evening. A light selection hors d'oeuvres will be provided during the cocktail hour for guests as well.
Do you have a wedding registry?
We do have a small wedding registry connected on our wedding page. We also have a wedding fund connected for those who would like to send a gift without cards.
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
To be respectful of guests who may have early morning travel or work/ school engagements the next morning, the reception will be held 7 - 9 pm after dinner. Guests who would like to stay and mingle with additional dancing, music and games are invited to stay until 11 pm.
Will there be an open bar?
Beer, wine or a signature cocktail will be complimentary for guests. We will also provide a small selection of non-alcoholic beverages for those guests not wishing to drink alcohol.
