Please come enjoy the museum and a pre ceremony cocktail in front of the 1855 Lippincott soda fountain until we begin at 6:00. The building that the museum occupies is itself a historic landmark – a classic creole townhouse in the French Quarter constructed in 1822-1823 that served as the apothecary and residence of Louis J. Dulfilho, Jr., the first licensed pharmacist in the United States, until 1855.

Grab a cocktail to go and let's dance our way to the reception with a brass band and a police escort. Please, make sure your dancing shoes are comfortable.

Let's eat, drink and dance! This reception will really take the cake. You may even have your palm read. Since at least 1726, the property where the Court of Two Sisters restaurant is now located has been a significant cultural presence in New Orleans. It was the second French home to five governors including Marquis de Vaudreil. He was known as the “Grand Marquis.” for his aristocratic and theatrical ways. The second floor dining room at the Court of Two Sisters is now called the Grand Marquis Room in his honor.
