Resort

The wedding will be held at the Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya resort on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 5pm.

The resort is an adults-only all-inclusive resort. The world's second-largest barrier reef is 150 meters off the resort's beach. Akumal translates to "place of turtles". From the resort's beach, you can swim with turtles, tropical fish, and rays.

Ceremony and Reception

The wedding ceremony will be held at the Arch on the resort. The Arch acts as a breezeway to keep guests cool. A cocktail hour and reception will follow at the Plaza Akumal located next to the Arch.

Ceremony and Reception Attire

Resort Formal – For men: long pants and collar shirts; dress shoes. For women: blouses, skirts, slacks or dresses; dress shoes or sandals.

Travel Arrangements

There are room group rates available by booking rooms through our friend and travel agent, Char Augustyne.

Char can help you book flights and ground transportation to and from the resort as well. When you RSVP please provide your email address and she will contact you to make your travel arrangements.
