We first met at work in a dev shop in Boulder, Colorado in 2016. Jenn originally thought Gavin disliked her, but later learned that he was just very intense, focused, and has angry resting face, haha!

After we were put on the same team and projects, we became close friends and learned we share many of the same interests and hobbies, including fitness, gaming, and science, and spent a lot of time lifting and gaming together.

After we both became available on the dating scene, we decided to go for it and things moved quite fast. With speed comes turbulence, and after many hiccups and difficulties in our lives, we realized we could tackle any problem as long as we stuck together. Our adventures and misadventures ultimately led us to Miami, Florida, where we have been building our lives and growing together since 2019.

Over the years, Gavin's adventurous nature meant that he could share amazing new things with Jenn that she had never experienced, and Jenn was able to bring Gavin down to earth. We've learned that we compliment each other extremely well, and elevate each other in ways we could never do alone.

We can't imagine where we'd be today without one another, and we don't want to imagine a life without each other going forward.

On the day of our wedding, it will be exactly 9 years and 8 days since Gavin and Jenn met for the first time. :)
