Tyler and Jenna met on a dating app when she was living in Mt. Pleasant (MP) attending Central Michigan University. Tyler was a gentleman from the start and traveled to MP for their first date in February of 2021 where they went to Hunter’s Ale House.

From there Tyler supported Jenna in her studies as he traveled to MP frequently to see her. They would FaceTime almost every night to share the days events and continue to grow their friendship and love for one another.

Fast forward to Walleye Fest 2023 where Jenna was convinced they were going to a baby shower for one of Tyler’s work friends and in the meantime stopping to give breakfast to Cory who to Jenna’s knowledge was fishing for the weekend. Little did Jenna know that it was all a scheme to get her to dress nice for the proposal. Cory (best man) was awaiting their arrival with a camera not a fishing pole. Tyler got down on one knee in a spot he has always cherished. After a few pictures, they returned to a surprise engagement party planned by Tyler with most of Tyler and Jenna’s family and a few close friends.
