Jenna and Ryan were in Minnesota celebrating Christmas with Jenna's family that weekend. We went to lunch at Jenna's families favorite restaurant, Maynard's, before Jenna's Brother, Trevor, Sister in law, Laura and Niece Layne headed back home. We ate and headed back to Jenna's parents. Being it was winter in Minnesota, Jenna was cold! Jenna made some tea to warm up. Everyone was sitting in the living room reminiscing about the weekend. Ryan started talking about how much fun he had and how welcomed, loved and comfortable he felt with Jenna's family. Jenna thought "well this is so cute-how nice of him to say it out loud". At that moment Jenna looked up and Ryan was on one knee. Jenna was over whelmed with emotion, she does not remember specifics to what Ryan said other than, I have loved you since the day I met you! Surrounded by Jenna's Family, She said YES!! Laura had her Camera ready and snapped many photos of the special moment! Trevor had all the essentials (Champagne to toast and Busch light of course)! Cheers, hugs and much excited was shared for the lovely couple!!
