Our Wedding

Kevin and Jenna met at Lake Catholic High School Sophomore year in 2014 in Speech and Debate class. They partnered up for a speech about bears. Jenna, unsurprisingly, does not remember this encounter. She remembers the first time conversing in pottery class senior year of high school in 2017. Jenna needed one more art credit to graduate, so she decided that pottery would be the easiest art class for her unartistic nature. Kevin had already taken a pottery class and loved it so much that he decided to take Pottery 2. Now, Jenna is a perfectionist so when the A+ range changed from 98-100 to 99-100 coupled with a very harsh grader for a pottery teacher, she opted to skip her lunch many times to work extra on her pottery projects. This is where it all started. Kevin's pottery class was during Jenna's lunch. Since Jenna was staying through her lunch period, this is where they started to become friends. Then the next period they both had religion together and somehow got assigned seats right next to each other. They also had last period study hall together that Jenna stopped skipping just to keep hanging out with Kevin. At first, Kevin brushed off Jenna's attempts at flirting. Ultimately, he fell for her and went on their first date that Jenna proposed which was a hike with one of Kevin's dogs to Chapin Forest in Mentor, Ohio. This led to many more dates such as the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, Bob Evans, and Scooters Dog House. Then after a fantastic summer and 4 months of dating, it was time for Jenna and Kevin to start their college journeys at separate college. Though long distance was challenging, they made it out stronger than ever with brand new careers. They started saving up for a potential house and Kevin for a future engagement ring. In May 2022 Jenna and Kevin closed on their first home in Wickliffe, Ohio! A few months later they adopted the cutest and most well-behaved pup, Scout. While learning to live together with a 1-year-old, energetic dog, they both leaned on each other for support and have become a beautiful, loving family. Kevin took the next step to make that official in April of 2023 when he proposed to Jenna at Squires Castle in Willoughby, Ohio, because he thought that was where their first date was. It's the thought that counts, right! Jenna obviously said yes, and they look to make their family official in October of 2024!
