Derek and Jenna met online in 2020. They met and became official on March 26, 2020, but due to Covid shut down had to postpone their first real date a few months. The first public date was June 2, 2020, where they spent a lovely evening at Olive Garden and Derek bought her roses and a heartfelt card! Even with Covid making lives hard they didn’t allow that or the 1hr traveling distance stop them from seeing each other!

Derek and Jenna started saying little things to indicate how they felt about one another without saying the 3 little words too soon. Derek was the first to say them one night while they were talking about languages and phrases they knew and told her “Te Amo”

Many friends have commented that they have never seen Jenna so happy or smile as much as she does with Derek! They both try to be involved as much as they can with each others kids and their sporting events.

On May 27, 2023 Derek organized for photos to be done for Jenna and him. They got all dressed up in their best and headed to the location, little did Jenna know her life would be changing that day. During photos Derek started talking about how much she meant to him and how much their family meant, the next thing she knew he was down on one knee. HE PROPOSED!!

Of course she said Yessssss, As she cried non-stop! Now on to the rest of their lives and a Happily Ever After 💗
