Salem is an incredible city on the water, just north of Boston. While small, it has so much to offer! Below is a short list of what the couple recommends to do when you visit. Between the quaint shops, amazing dining, and unique history, you will find there is a lot to explore! The Bride grew up close to Salem, and has many wonderful childhood memories there. Meanwhile, the Groom was able to visit several times as a teenager during summer camp trips. The couple loves Salem and they are excited to share this city with their closest friends and family.

When should I book a hotel?As soon as possible! September is a busy time in Salem, MA and hotels can fill up quickly. The couple recommends booking as early as you can. Are kids welcome?Although the couple loves your little ones, this is an adult-only affair. Where should I park?There is limited, free parking behind the hotel and there is street parking around the Salem Common. The closest parking garages are next to the <a href="https://www.salem.org/travel-info/parking/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Peabody Essex Museum and by the waterfront</a>. Is transportation needed from the ceremony to the reception? No, the ceremony will be in the park that is across the street from the hotel.Very convenient! Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?Yes! Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?The wedding ceremony is outdoors (unless rain is expected) and reception will be indoors.
