While they knew each other, they did not connect until the night before Thanksgiving in 2021.

They started dating shortly thereafter. Alex made many trips to Toledo where Jenna was living while she finished law school and she started coming home a lot more on weekends and holidays.

Since they started dating, they worked to integrate both of their lives into one. Alex brought Jenna in to help with Maple Syrup Season (mostly to carry buckets and feed the family). They both worked to grow a garden and started to can some of their favorite salsas, jams, and sauces from vegetables they grew together.

As they grew in their relationship, they have created so many great memories with both of our families.

In October of 2023, Alex proposed at the family farm under a 200 year old oak tree. Jenna said "Yes!"
