We met through a mutual friend. Our friend Julian and I were working together and Zack came in one day to talk to Julian for one reason or another. We got introduced and went on our merry little way. Eventually, Zack came to work with us. Naturally, the trash talking came around, nicknames were given, and a 4th person was added to our little friends group. Julian was always shipping Zack and I.

Anytime we would hang out outside of work, somehow the two of us always wound up next to each other. Sometime in January, I bought an Xbox so I could play video games with the guys. I was slow to get comfortable with the controls, but eventually started getting the hang of it all. One night in February, Zack and I were on the game chat, playing the game and talking. Turns out, we both kind of liked each other.

We talked for a little bit, and then Julian joined our game party. Of course our conversation couldn't just be over, so we took to texting/snapping while carrying on in the game. As if nothing ever happened. Lol

Next thing I know, I'm running around Walmart trying to figure out what to cook for dinner because Zack's coming over to hang out and I get hungry when I get nervous. (Which makes no sense because he has been to my place before!)

I made Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. We watched like 2 movies. And then the next thing you know....we were dating. :)

This man had me bamboozled! We had been talking about Christmas gifts and what each other wanted for a little while. I knew I couldn't get Zack what he actually wanted (Car Parts) for Christmas, so I thought I would get him something that I knew he enjoyed. He told me that I was going to love my present, but it was too big to be wrapped and he had it stored in his parents work shed. I'm thinking he's built/bought a new bed frame for us or gotten us a dresser. I'm thinking it something like that because that's what I said I wanted.

We go over to his parents house for Christmas Eve dinner with his whole family. We are having a great time, we eat and all is well. One of his sisters asked me if I would help her move some gifts, and of course I said yes. When I cam back into the house, I should have know something was up because of the way the family was acting.

Everyone was gathered around in the living room, cell phones at the ready. Then Zack asked me if I could come into the living room so he could give me my present. He didn't want to wait anymore. He tells me to turn around, away from him...(I'm thinking it's a necklace at this point). And when he tells me it's okay to turn around again, he was down on one knee and he says, "I love you, more than you can imagine. And it would be amazing if you would marry me." And of course I said yes!
