We met on our first day at Cornerstone University at the university's chapel. We were placed in the same freshmen orientation group for the duration of our first year at college.

We remained friends until we finally went on our first date in October of 2022.

Right after our graduation ceremony on May 4th 2024, Erik proposed at Cornerstone University, where we had met.
