A relationship is grown from connections. Love is a feeling born from those many things. A marriage is an agreement to treasure those two things and each other. There are many ways people define relationships. You can look at your relation to the individual, the places you both go to, and the things you enjoy; All these things give context. When Jenna and I sit down to reflect on the things that define our relationship, we always return to the same truths. We cannot talk without laughing too loudly, unfortunately for you. We cannot reflect without joy, that in the 12 years we had known each other we would see it through to this moment. We can only succeed by acknowledging all the compromise and patience we share for one another. We cannot love without all of you. So, when you look for the story of us; listen to it in our laughter, feel it in moments that took us here, honor our commitment to all of this, and acknowledge that you are as much a part of the story of us as we are to each other.
