When should I RSVP by?
We ask that you RSVP no later than May 31.
Can we get gifts that aren't on the registry?
Sure! The registry is a list of things we would enjoy; it's meant to help you with finding gifts, not hinder you!
What is the dress code?
We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! The dress code is semi-formal to formal.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors in venues that have air conditioning.
Can I bring my kids or a plus one?
When you RSVP on the website, it will show who is included on your invite. Unfortunately, we do have limited space, so we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00, so we ask that you show up by 3:45 at the latest so we can get started on time! Late entry into the ceremony will not be permitted
Where do we park once we get there?
The ceremony venue has a parking lot on site. The reception venue has limited street parking as well as a parking lot at 10 1st St SE which is just across the street from the venue (behind the Willkommen Heritage and Preservation Society). We ask that if you are able, please park in the parking lot to leave the street parking any guests who are less able to tolerate a longer walk.
What if my kids start getting fussy during the ceremony or reception?
The ceremony site has a few other rooms in the back that you may take children to if they need a break. There is also quite a bit of open space outside if they need to get the wiggles out. At the reception venue, there is a playground and picnic area right outside that the kids are welcome to play on!
What should I expect after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, we will have a receiving line. The ushers will dismiss guests by row so everyone has a chance to speak with the couple as they leave. After this, you may head to the reception venue (about 5 minutes away). The reception will start around 5:30, and dinner will be served at approximately 6:00.
Will there be alcohol at the wedding?
We have opted for a dry wedding. We will not be providing any alcohol and ask that you do not bring any either.
Will there be dancing?
Yes, after dinner, there will be a dance! However, we will also have alternate activities (games!) for our guests who want to stay and celebrate but would rather not dance. There is also a beautiful outdoor space with picnic tables and a playground that you may use, weather-permitting.
What do I do if I can't find an answer to a question I have about the wedding?
Feel free to reach out to Jenna! Her number is (507) 676-8434.
