Jenna and Kenneth's Milwaukee Guide

Milwaukee is an extremely special city to us as it's where we met back in May 2018. It's a beautiful city rich with history and culture, scenic views, and of course, a vibrant food and drink scene. Every time we visit, we make sure to stop at our favorite places where we've made so many memories. We wanted to share these stops with you:

Where should we eat?

Breakfast/brunch: We love Sweet Diner and Cafe Benelux in the 3rd Ward, close to the venue and church. Lunch: The Milwaukee Public Market has so many great options! The bloody Mary’s at the Public Market are loaded with cheese curds, brats, and hard boiled eggs. If you're feeling more adventurous, go to Sobelman's to get a whole roasted chicken on your Bloody Mary! La Masa on Brady street is another classic; their empanadas and sangria make a great combo. Dinner: Dorsia on Brady Street is our favorite. They're a great Italian spot with homemade pasta flights. If you wanted to take a walk down our memory lane, visit Ouzo Cafe on Milwaukee Street- they've got the best Greek food in the city and it is also where we first met.

What is there to do?

Lakefront Brewery is an excellent craft brewery with really good food too! Updown is a game bar that we've spent countless hours playing galaga and other retro games. Milwaukee is a beautiful city along the largest Great Lake, Lake Michigan. Yes, it's February in Milwaukee, but we recommend bundling up and going for a walk along the lake. Mckinley Park is a good place to start your walk because you can grab a horchata and almond croissant from Colectivo Coffee.
