Our first date was September 14, 2019, after meeting on Bumble. We connected immediately and ended up going on date after date.

Shortly after meeting, Jenna offered Evan a ticket to an upcoming concert she had planned to go to for her birthday. The opener - Peach Pit, who we were not all that familiar with at the time - is now our favorite band. We have tickets to see them June 2026 with some of our closest friends.

Jenna got incredibly sick before our planned trip to NC over Christmas, but Evan missed a work party, a wedding, and drove the entire way there. On NYE in Asheville we both knew we'd be getting married one day.

The next year was hectic - but we managed to make lovely memories. For Evan's first birthday together we spent time with our closest friends on their deck.

We spent Christmas 2020 at home in Texas, which was for the best as we both got sick shortly after. While we had our chosen family in Texas, we missed our families in CA & NC dearly.

We got snowed in! Winter Storm Uri dumped ice across Texas and we had no water for days. Luckily we had power though.

We loved living in Texas, and loved hosting friends and family when they came to visit!

In Summer of 2021, we traveled to NC for two funerals. After this, we started planning to move to be closer to Evan's family.

We did the long drive to NC for the last time before moving.

Evan went out to California for the first time, just before Jenna was set to move out to North Carolina.

Jenna loaded the van and the cats and moved!

There were a lot of tears shed - and ATX will always be home for Jenna.

Evan landed a new job and moved to NC in early May, just in time for a birthday trip to Busch Gardens with his Mom & brother!

Evan took his first Disneyland trip!

We did Disney World together for the first time with Evan's family and family friends.

Jenna started nursing school - at the same school where Evan worked in the financial aid office.

We continued to take trips, especially to Texas!

Jenna said yes! We took a trip to Asheville with our close friends Mike & Beth and got engaged at SoCo falls.

Jenna was surprised by brunch with Chansin & August who were in NC for the Bible Bee, which made it even more special.

Jenna accepted her dream job at UNC Medical Center.

Jenna graduated nursing school and passed her NCLEX in May!

We spent the summer going to weddings...

& traveling to see friends.

We moved in to our new place in Chapel Hill.

& now we can't wait to get married!
