Jenna and Thomas Meehan’s journey began at the University at Buffalo, where Jenna, the head lifeguard at the school pool, crossed paths with Thomas, who was cross-training for the track team. Thomas always claimed he “Sandlotted” Jenna, and that playful remark became a cherished memory of their budding romance.

Their first date took them to the breathtaking Niagara Falls in Canada, marking the beginning of a beautiful adventure together. Taking a leap of faith, Jenna moved to Long Island to pursue becoming Physician Assistant at NYIT. Their shared love for life became evident as they welcomed their first dog, Harley, and embarked on cross-country travels in a tiny teardrop camper.

As the pandemic unfolded, the couple decided it was time to spread their wings and move into a cozy tiny home in Rocky Point. Their new abode was conveniently located near Jenna’s hospital and humorously “as far as possible" from Thomas’s nursing home. Their new home became a sanctuary of love and laughter.

Thomas’s proposal was as unique as their journey. During one of their favorite activities, a “Sunset Sandy” at a local golf pitch and putt, Sandy Ponds, Jenna was delighted to find a ring hidden in a golf hole, which she believed to be a “hole in one.” She joyfully replied yes and the rest is history.

Their family continued to grow with the addition of chickens and another puppy, Thor. Now, with hearts full of love and anticipation, Jenna and Thomas are thrilled to share their special day with you at the Vineyards at Aquebogue on Long Island.
