This story began when two people decided to download a dating app called Hinge in November of 2021.
Jenna and Yaniv matched and had their first date December 17, 2021. Jenna was shy and quiet at first, so Yaniv thought she wasn’t as interested in him as he was in her. (Obviously he was wrong!)
Through their shared love of food(especially tacos), Disney, and both being competitive, their connection grew stronger.
Over the next several months their greatest adventure was only just beginning. They created memories enjoying movie nights, bowling, even cooking classes, and family parties.

Yaniv plans a trip
The last phase of his plan would be complete

Now can we skip to the good part?-The Proposal!


Unbeknownst to Yaniv, Jenna secretly already knew what was going to happen(Yaniv kept dropping little hints here and there the past few weeks). They made a plan to take a vacation to Yaniv’s house in Big Bear. The two spent the afternoon driving through the mountains, walking around the town, and sitting by the lake. It was both peaceful and romantic.
Yaniv told Jenna before they could go to dinner that evening, he had to wait for the maintenance guy to fix the sink downstairs. That meant they needed to be out of the house early that evening so that AJ, the maintenance person, could do his job quicker. Jenna was a little confused why they needed to leave while AJ worked downstairs, and also curious what was going on. She agreed though, without complaints, and they went to watch the sunset over the lake.
When they arrived back at the house the scene appeared like it was straight out of a Hallmark movie. There were twinkling lights, rose pedals, and even a love song playing. Jenna looked at Yaniv knowing what was about to happen, and couldn’t stop smiling. He got down on one knee, holding out the most perfect ring, so what could she say but yes of course! When you know you know, right?


We feel extremely lucky to have each other and all the people who love us. We are beyond excited to share in the celebration of our love surrounded by all our family and friends. The momentous day of our wedding will be the pinnacle of every adventure we’ve had thus far together, and we can’t wait to create more memories forever and always.
