Alex and Ryan, Jenna’s brother, were paired to be college roommates at SIUE as engineering students in 2019. When they moved Ryan in, Alex showed up and Jenna started joking, “I’m going to marry him someday.” This joke stayed consistent until July of 2023 when each of us were told we could bring a friend on our family trip to Milwaukee. On this trip, Alex, Ryan, Jenna, and her friend, Ashley, went to a Zach Bryan concert. After the trip, Jenna sent a song from Victorious, a childhood show, called, “My Best Friends Brother,” but she changed it to “*My Brother’s Best Friend*” and sent it to Alex. He didn’t see the message until later in August. Jenna and Alex went on their first date in Springfield, IL, first eating at Darcy’s Pint, then went bowling to finish the night.. After their first date, they didn’t talk again for a month. Then in October, fate put them both at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. Alex asked Jenna if she’d want to come to the bar he was at and she met him there. The following weekend, they both happened to be in St. Louis for different things. Again, they met up at a bar and the rest was history.

If you’re planning to reserve a hotel room, please do so by February 7th, otherwise the price will jump back to regular price! 

This hotel is right next to the event place! If you decide to stay here, you could park your car in the lot and walk over! There are 20 rooms held in the room block for the night of the ceremony. There are 10 rooms held for Friday, the 6th.
