Both born and raised in Sault Ste Marie, Jenna and Bronson ran in different circles and with a bit of an age gap, they never seemed to cross paths. That is until the summer of 2020, when the global forces of Covid-19 partnered with the match making skills of their best friends Kurt & Linds, brought them together for their first date at Root River golf course. Jenna was sold when Bronson smoothly pulled out the classic Happy Gilmore line, "It's all in the hips."

Their summer romance quickly evolved from nights out with mutual friends, to quiet nights in, to meeting the parents, all the while playing it off like it was nothing serious. Knowing Bronson was returning to Europe to continue his hockey career, neither of them were too keen on embarking on an international long distance relationship.

It turns out they were fooling themselves, as they continued talking daily despite the 6 hour time difference. Jenna was live streaming Hungarian hockey games in a foreign language and Bronson was introducing Jenna on FaceTime to his teammates. During this time apart, they quickly realized they had found something very rare with one another.

Flash forward to 2021, Bronson retired from hockey and moved back home to the Sault where he and Jenna began to build their life together. They put down special roots in their brand new 1972 camper on Lake Superior and made a home away from home, sipping homemade wine & listening to The Edmund Fitzgerald by the campfire any chance they got.

The milestones continued as they purchased their first house together in 2022 and in 2023, exactly 3 years from their first date, Bronson got down on one knee at the 9th hole of Root River golf course where it all began and asked Jenna to be his wife. You'd think Jenna would have suspected something going to the same place, the same day with the same people as their first date but if you've watched "the video", it's not hard to see this was the surprise of her life.

In 2024, they brought their red bundle of joy, Copper into their home and they couldn't be happier. Jenna & Bronson have been blessed with a love story full of memories and amazing friends & family. They cannot wait to make forever official with all of you by their sides.
