We met in 2019, neither of us looking for a relationship. But fast forward to 10/06/2019, and we decided to give this a shot. Just a few months later, Jenna moved to Connecticut to live with Zachary, and the rest is history!

On October 4, 2023, Zachary proposed to Jenna on a beach in Albufeira, Portugal. The day was full of unexpected twists: the engagement ring was lost in an Uber, our phones were dead, and we found ourselves stranded at a grocery store. Despite the chaos, we eventually made it to the beach, where Zachary laid out a blanket and wine. Just as we began to relax, a fisherman set up ten poles directly in front of us, even though the beach stretched for seven miles. Undeterred, we decided to go for a walk and collect some rocks to bring home. As we were walking, Zachary said, Look at this rock. When Jenna turned around, she found Zachary on one knee. Everything worked out in the end, and that moment marked the beginning of the rest of our lives together.

In 2024, while cleaning out apartments, Jenna’s ring broke into pieces from a small accident. It left a scar where the stone was. Zachary took Jenna to Martha’s Vineyard for the first time. On June 29th, Zachary got down on one knee again. He proposed (again) with a new ring, and made Jenna promise she wouldn’t move any more dressers.
