How We Met

Jenna and Jeremy met the traditional way - Jenna asking her friends if they know any single men and then choosing said man from a photo on her friend's phone from a work event. This friend, Kim, then questioned her colleague with very important questions such as, "What's your sign?" and "Are you Mormon?" to make sure that Jeremy was indeed a good one. Jeremy too signed off on a picture of Jenna and texted her a few days later. They went on their first date about a week from that first text.

The Proposal

Every morning Jeremy and Jenna have the kids, Ethan and Julie, they have what has been named by Ethan as "Morning Meeting". This very important meeting takes place as part of the kids' morning routine where we talk about manners and life tips. Jenna usually leads this meeting but on this particular morning, Jeremy had planned something different. He and Julie had talked about this big change, wanting to get her input beforehand. Jeremy exclaimed "MORNING MEETING! KIDS SIT ON THE COUCH!" Jenna thought this was weird as that was not how it was usually done. She got up to look at their little manners chart in the kitchen. Jeremy then dropped to one knee and asked Jenna to marry him. Ethan yelled "DAD'S MARRYING JENNA!" and Julie gave Jenna a big hug and said she loved her. Jenna said yes.

We are not registered. Why do you ask? Because we both have been working long enough to buy what we want. If you would like to give us a gift, we would greatly appreciate funds for our honeymoon.
