How We Met

Long story short, Kris was working at a plasma center and I came in as a "new donor". From the very beginning, he was already being very flirtatious. He would creep through the bays and wink at me from time to time just make me blush, in which case it did, every single time.

After a month of this back-and-forth flirtatious banter Kris finally asked for my number. On that very day, I sent him a text wondering if he wanted to come hang out with all my college friends. I was in the midst of planning my 21st birthday when I find out that he also has the same birthday as me. Now, I wasn't sure if I should continue and date this guy because why would anyone want to share a birthday with your spouse? Low and behold, here we are today, finally saying the words "I Do".

Our Proposal

We have been together for a total of 7 years. We have established ourselves and have already felt as if we were a married couple. The topic of having a wedding has been apart of our conversations but my golly, it took him long enough to finally pop the question.

After excruciating months and months of waiting, this man drug me out past the air port where many go target shooting. Now, Kris has been wanting to take me shooting for several weekends by this point so when we finally got the chance to, I didn't think anything of it. He shot his gun a few times and handed it off to me to finish the few rounds that were in it. As I turned around, he was down on one knee with a ring box in his hand that held the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. I was entirely caught off guard and not to mention frozen because how else could I react holding a gun in my hand LOL.

I couldn't believe that he finally did it. With a quick response, I said YES!
