Our Wedding

Our story began with the global pandemic in full swing, every bar and restaurant locked down, a glove box full of masks, and not a roll of toilet paper to be found. In spite of these imperfect circumstances to be dating in the world, Tyler Swanson and Jenna Brady found each other.&nbsp;&nbsp;Come to find out we grew up only 3 exits away from each other! Our love for one another grew more and more with each sun soaked day together at the beach. We will always feel at home near the water. It’s where we fell in love, it’s where we got engaged, so it’s no surprise why we’re getting married in Hawaii! Between the nights of drinking wine, dancing in the kitchen, making cheese boards, and endless laughing, we knew we were meant to be forever. Soon enough we were living together and both working in Marin County. On April 1st, Tyler popped the question and totally caught Jenna by surprise as she thought we were looking for his “lost wallet” before heading into the city to celebrate his birthday! We continue to make amazing memories together every day, and we can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!!

There are plenty of hotels and resorts in Poipu beach area, but some of them can be quite pricey. This place was one of the more affordable places we have found. We also recommend looking into Airbnb or VRBO as well! We would just recommend you stay in Poipu beach to be near the venue.

There is a shuttle you can take from the airport (speedi shuttle: 877-242-5777).  Traditional taxis are also an option. Turo car rentals are a great option (try to get a car rental that delivers to you at the airport!) They do have Uber on the island, but the wait times are typically longer and are apparently not that reliable, so this is not recommended.
