Our love story started off like many relationships do at an Irish Pub.... but in Lisbon! Ian was on the last night of a stag trip with the lads and Jenna was on the last night of her European adventure with friends. After a fun night of chatting, drinks and McDonalds, we added each other on Facebook and said "see you never" before jetting back to Dublin and Toronto.

After a couple months of FB messaging and video calls, Ian took the plunge and flew to Toronto to visit Jenna. After a great week exploring the city, Ian left Toronto with a Canadian girlfriend ( even though he didn't officially realize it at the time).

After nearly two years of dating long distance and countless flights back and forth, Jenna packed up her bags and cat Charlie, and moved from Toronto to Waterford. Ian's friends and family welcomed Jenna to her new home with open arms.

The honeymoon phase continued while living together which prompted Ian to drop down on one knee at Mizen Head and surprised Jenna with a sparkler.... of course she said YES!!!

After living together for nearly three years, Jenna convinced Ian to make the big move across the pond to Halifax, and settled into their new home in Windsor Junction.

After 6 years together, two cats, Charlie and Ellie, Ian and Jenna welcomed baby Holly into the Barry/Welch family.

Next on the list is to say "I do" with all of you!
