Jenna & Tyler

We first met back in middle school but our relationship began freshman year of highschool. We remained friends until our junior year when one of Tyler’s football coaches was our teacher. We came to class one day to find a seating chart waiting for us. If you know Coach Pike you know he doesn’t make seating charts. Little did Jenna know Tyler kept talking about her at practice which led to his coach sitting us right next to each other infront of his desk. Jenna didn’t know about this arrangement until years later.

One of our favorite highschool memories was during our senior year. The varsity girls soccer team and varsity boys baseball team were both in district finals on the same day. The boys won and everyone came directly to the girls game. You could hear the boys honking as they were pulling in. The girls won after double OT and penalty kicks. Afterwards the soccer team and baseball team went back to Tyler’s house for pizza and pool party. This was such a fun time encouraging and supporting each other while doing what we loved.

We took some time apart as we adventured to college only to become best friends with 540 miles between us. Sophomore year we decided to give it a go one last time. 3 years of long distance allowed us to grow as individuals all while growing together in our relationship. After graduation we both moved back home to start nursing and chiropractic school.

We were officially together for 5 years when Tyler proposed at a resort in Mexico with both our families. He pulled off one heck of a surprise.

Tyler graduated at the end of April 2024 and we bought our first home shortly after.

They say you experience 3 loves in your life. First is a young love, full of playfulness and innocence. The second one is a hard love that comes with lessons and makes us stronger. The third love is a genuine forever love. How lucky are we to have experienced all three of these loves with eachother.
