Are children able to attend?

We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding however we are only able to invite the children of our immediate families. We thank you for your understanding.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding will be a mixture of both indoors and outdoors. The ceremony will be held outside with the bridal party under a pergola. Cocktail hour will be held in the tavern room with a bar area leading out to a very nice porch and patio. The reception will be held in the hall that includes a full bar, two bathrooms , and a view of the pond. If the weather decides not to cooperate everything will be held in the reception hall.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Formal Attire. Our wedding will be held on the first day of fall in 2024 but with Virginia's weather it will most likely be warm that day. We ask that men wear a lightweight suit or pants and a button up. We ask that women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. Any color is fine but we ask that no one wears white.

Is there parking available near the venue?

Vehicles left beyond 48hrs will be towed at their owner’s expense, unless prior arrangements have been made. Parking is in designated areas only, no parking on the grass around the Manor.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We ask that everyone be present at our unplugged ceremony. We ask that everyone turns off their phone. We do not want any sounds interrupting the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer that will get great photos and we do not want anything interfering with her pictures. Pictures are more than welcomed at the reception.

Will the bride and groom be able to speak to everyone?

Unfortuanly, no. We are the guests of honor not the hosts. We want to dance the night away with all our friends and family. We can catch up another time!

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat.

Where are you registered?

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home. We are registered on Amazon and you can also find our registry right here under the “registry” tab.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! There will be an open bar but please be responsible and safe. You may be asked to show your I.D. at the bar. We also ask that the wedding be smoke free. If necessary, there are designated areas for tobacco smoking only.
