The first date! Tyler was at Baylor in Waco and I (Jennah) was at UMHB in Belton! I met him in Waco where he took me to Baris, a local Italian restaurant in Waco. After dinner, he took me to the Waco Suspension Bridge and we walked around talking for hours. We both immediately felt a strong connection to each other :)

On Halloween, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes and that is where I met his best friend, Hunter, and my future best friend Baylee (Hunter's wife)! This was the start of many double dates for us.

The YES Day! We went to Hermann park with our best friends. I was told it was a surprise Mother's Day dinner for my best friend and we were there as a double date! They said there was no parking near the restaurant, so we had to park a little farther then walk through Hermann park to get to the restaurant. As we were walking, Tyler called my name and I turned around and he was on one knee. I didn't believe he was actually proposing until I saw the most beautiful ring in his hand. He asked me, "will you marry me?" Of course I said yes! It was truly the most special day!
