We met many years ago (maybe 2012) through Michael's sister, Sara. Sara and Jennie were best friends and roommates at Auburn University.

We had brief interactions in college but didn't really get to know each other until January of 2018 when Jennie joined the Gibson family on a trip to Mexico. On this trip we spent many nights sitting on the pier talking until the early hours of the morning. We really got to know each other. After this trip when we were back in Alabama we started hanging out casually and as things got more serious we had to ask Sara for her approval because she was my (Jennie's) best friend and whatever she said was how it would be. Thankfully she was nothing but excited and supportive of us and has been so supportive of us throughout our entire relationship.

We spent the first 4 years of our relationship long distance.. anywhere from only a 2-hour drive apart to as far as Alabama and Washington state. These years were hard but made us into the couple we are today.

Now we live in Arizona, where Jennie is a neuro occupational therapist and Michael is a civil engineer. We love to travel, spend time outdoors hiking/camping, and playing with our 2 dogs Daisy and Hudson.

We are so excited to start this new season together and want to welcome our close family and friends to join us and celebrate with us.
