We met at work and for a couple of years made small talk at shift change about our shared interests of history, shipwrecks, and outdoor activities - recommending places to visit or documentaries to watch. Then, after a couple of years of being casual work friends the conversations got deeper and we realized just how much we had in common and decided to take a chance on a date!
