The hike and bike trail goes around Lady Bird Lake in Austin. This is a lovely walk to see beautiful down town views and is easily accessible from the downtown room block. Pro-tip: head there early in the morning before it gets too hot and finish at the Lake Austin Juiceland for a refreshing drink after!
The name might be misleading- its not the hike you think it is. (Definitely no 14'er) This short, easy walk will take you to the highest point in Austin. It is easy to drive to and takes less than 10 minutes to walk up, take in the view, and leave.
Another great view spot! Also a fairly easy, less than 5 minute walk to the top. Could easily be your next stop after you see Mount Bonnell!
Nestled in the heart of Austin, Texas, Barton Springs is a natural oasis that beckons both locals and travelers seeking respite from the Texan heat. This beloved swimming hole boasts crystal-clear, spring-fed waters that maintain a refreshing temperature around 68 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.
Take a stroll down one of the most popular streets in Austin to see the shops, restaurants, and Capitol views!
The best queso in Austin! One of Michael and Jenn's favorite places for Tex-Mex. (you have to order the Bob's) Be prepared to have one or two... or three Mexican Martinis while you wait for your table- really, its probably going to be a long wait.
Another favorite dinner spot of Michael and Jenn. A true Austin treasure. They once ate at a table next to Elon Musk! You have to order the queso fundido and a numero uno margarita.
