Jennifer's POV: After using dating site on and off for a couple of years, I thought I would give Bumble one last try and that's when I saw Josh's profile. After matching and chatting for a while through the app, we decided to meet in person. I knew right away he was special when he agreed to meet at Lucky Dog for the first date. That became even more apparent when I didn't feel that first date awkwardness and lost track of time talking with him. When he agreed to start going to church with me after only a few dates and even started talking to the priest on his own, I started to believe the relationship could actually go somewhere. That became even more apparent when he came with me to a family vacation with my mom, brother, and best friend. Something that would normally be awkward turned out to be one of the best vacations. Josh fit into our group like he has been coming with us for years. It was the same when he met my dad and stepmom for the first time. The relationship only grew from there, and while he was the first one to say "I love you" on Valentines Day, 2025 it didn't take me long to realize I couldn't imagine my life without him. After that I couldn't wait for the day he proposed and January 5th was the most amazing day. I can't wait to begin our lives together as husband and wife.
Josh’s pov: around turning 28 I started to focus on what I wanted in life. Working third shift 6 days a week made it hard to have any social life. I tried a few times to look for long term relationships but the job always became a problem. Decided to change jobs in 2023. Late April of 2024 tried dating sites again with how busy my schedule was. Thankfully matched with Jen and started talking. The first date at Lucky Dog went well and from there we began to connect more. We became official on July 4th the same year. October of that year we went down to Amelia Island and I got to meet her mom and brother for the first time. It was an incredible week that only grew my desire for her. After that trip I started to feel like she was definitely the one. By Valentine’s Day of 2025 I knew she was the love of my life. From there I worked with Abouna to strengthen my relationship with the lord and joined the church. After being baptized and joining the church I set the plans for proposing. On January 5, one of the happiest and best days of my life so far, I proposed and cannot wait to begin our life together.
