We ask that your attire is respectful of our church. Semi-Formal is the attire. You do not have to be fully covered, just respectful. NO short dresses or skirts NO bare shoulders (spaghetti straps are ok if covered with a shawl or sweater) Jeans are ok, just no holes in them. NO t*shirts

Long-ish... Generally, an Orthodox Wedding Ceremony will last about 1 hour. We will have a small program at the doors so you can join along.

The venue where the yacht is leaving from is 30 miles from the church. It takes approx. 45 minutes to get there. I sugggest leaving the church NO LATER than 3:30 just to give yourself an extra 15 or so minutes. Once you are at the hotel, you can proceed outside to the intracoastal where you can pre-game :) They will start boarding between 4:30 & 4:45. If you are late, you will miss the party! So, don't be late!

Once you board, there will be a display of snacks along with waiter/waitress passed hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will be served buffet style; Prime Rib, Coconut Mahi Mahi & Tortellini will be the main courses. If you have any food allergies or special diet reequirements, please let us know ASAP so we can notify the chef. There will be 2 bars on separate decks that are "open bars". We've taken care of the booze, we just ask that you, please, take care of the bartenders!

Steve & I will be staying at the Kimpton Inn on the wedding night. For those that down to brunch with us, we would be honored if you could join us. When we get closer, I will update this post with the Restaurant we choose. ** We have chosen to brunch at Shooters Waterfront. It is less than 10 minutes from the hotel; 3033 NE 32nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 It is a part of my childhood and we would love it if you would join us.
