They say the best way to meet your partner is through mutual friends. If you love your friends, it would make sense you would love their friends as well, right? Well, that is exactly how we met. In Minnesota, you can't travel too far during winter break on campus with the snow and cold. That is how our two units in 1301 Apartments in Dinky Town got to spend nearly every day of our two week winter break together.

We were friends with some of each other's roommates and certainly had been in the same room before, but didn't really know each other until winter of 2016 when our apartments joined forces.

A few months later our relationship became "official" and the rest is (the beginning of our) history.

Since 2016, we have traveled to Denver, Kansas City, Milwaukee, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oahu, Kauai, Black Hills, Missoula, Glacier National Park, Baltimore, Cabo and of course countless trips to Chicago and Sioux Falls. We have attended many Gopher, Maryland, Orioles, Twins, Timberwolves, Loons and Vikings games. Most importantly, we have adopted our two cats, Stix and Piper.

Brooks proposed in February of 2023 and pulled off a second surprise of having our families in town for celebrations after.

We are so excited for our family and friends to make the journey to St. Paul for our wedding on July 5th, 2024!
