It wasn't until three years later that our paths would cross. Luke had decided to stay at Syracuse and pursue a grad degree at Syracuse's iSchool. He was looking for a job and it just so happened to be that he got hired to work at iLab where Jen had been working for a few years.

After a few months of getting to know each other, we went to our first date party together. (This is also our first photo together).

We started dating that summer and would always go out of our ways to see each other, whether it was when Jen lived in Connecticut for work (while Luke was still living in NJ), as well as her other work rotation locations. We’d often explore the local nearby areas to find good food places and Luke even helped introduce Jen to seafood (mainly lobster) - something she didn’t previously think she’d like but now loves! Fun fact - (other than goin gout to eat) one of our favorite dates is going bowling together!

In 2020 during covid, Luke and his mom drove into NYC to get Jen, and she lived with Luke’s family for about 6 months into 2020! We all really got to know each other during that time and we truly made the best out of a very unfortunate situation during the lockdown/covid period. Whether it was driving around Flemington playing Pokemon Go or getting food from some of our favorite local places - such as Bamboo House and Joe’s Pizza, we always would find ways to have fun together :)

About one year ago, we adopted two amazing kittens - Kobe and Misty - who are now both such big parts of our lives!

In March, Luke got down on one knee and proposed to Jen! He planned a 30th birthday party that actually turned out to be a surprise engagement!

We’ve been together for over 7 years now and our bond has never been stronger! We both feel so fortunate to have found a partner who is also compassionate, open-minded, thoughtful, truly cares about others and much more. We can't wait to see you at our wedding!
