Jen planned to spend New Year's Eve with her best friends from Bloomsburg, Marissa and Liana. Marissa told us our friend Zander and his roommates invited us over to pregame before a New Year's Eve party. That is where Jen and Bill met for the first time. They shared a New Year's kiss. After New Year's, they slowly started talking and Bill finally got the courage to ask Jen out. They went on their first date on January 13th at Iron Abbey in Horsham. Bill "officially" asked Jen out on February 2nd.

Jen's family was going on vacation to the Outer Banks in early July 2017. They stayed in Duck, North Carolina. On July 3rd, two days after they arrived, Bill asked Jen to go out to dinner. They went out to a beautiful restaurant called the Blue Point right on the bay and got a drink outside after. Bill asked Jen if she wanted to go for a walk on the beach. This is when she started to get suspicious! We started to walk on the beach and at one point Bill started to slow down. Then a bunch of dog walkers started walking in front of them. After they passed, Bill got down on one knee. The house on the beach had a guy yell, "YOU CAN DO IT!" Bill said "Jen, will you marry me?" Jen said yes and then realized that her sisters, Megan and Kelly captured the whole thing. They got pictures on the beach and the rest is history! :)
