Our story began in 2007 at Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School in Ajax. Here in grade 9, we became friends and hung out in similar friend groups, had some classes together, and went to the same parties.

Ten years after graduating high school, we reconnected after Jordan "spontaneously" added Jennifer on Snapchat and sent her a message. This re-sparked the friendship, which later progressed when Jennifer called Jordan at midnight on New Years Eve wishing him a happy new year and asking if he was interested in going on a date. Jordan of course said yes!

Our first date was on January 2nd, 2021 driving to Milton for a hike through the Hilton Falls trail. Walking and talking for hours until it was too dark, before we had to head back. But the date did not end there, as we sat on the bed of Jordan's truck laughing, chatting, getting to know each other and having a couple of beers (Heineken, of course).

The first date was amazing and from then on, we were inseparable. Our favourite date was when Jordan surprised Jennifer by setting up the bed of his pick-up truck with cozy blankets and pillows, string lights, a mini fire pit, drinks and pizza. We drove out and spent the day in Burlington where we sat under the sky bridge and watched the sunset.

After 2 years of dating, Jordan felt it was the right time to propose. In February 2023, Jordan planned a ski trip to Blue Mountain renting a chalet for the weekend. On the first day we arrived we went up the ski lift and by the time we came down from the second run we were already engaged. Jordan decided that it would be a good idea to stop off in the trees half way down the mountain overlooking Georgian Bay and have a drink (Heineken again, of course). Sitting on the hill enjoying the views, Jordan popped the question, and Jennifer said yes! And the rest is history.
