Our Story

Our Love Story

Our Love Story

– His & Hers –

💁‍♀️ Her Version:

It all started back in 2019, at a place called PPi Technologies Group, where fate had a few tricks up its sleeve. I was working as a shipping manager, and Collin’s dad just so happened to be my manager (no pressure, right?). Collin, meanwhile, worked for a third-party vendor, coming in to build crates for the very machines I was shipping. Our paths crossed on the warehouse floor — who knew that sparks could fly between forklifts and freight logs?

At the time, I was in another relationship, but life has a funny way of clearing space for the right person. After my breakup, Collin and I started talking more — casual chats at work turned into something more when he asked if I wanted to go kayaking. I said yes, and we planned to meet that Saturday.

What I didn’t know? That Saturday just happened to be Collin’s 30th birthday, and as it goes with “dirty 30” celebrations, the night before got the best of him. He stood me up (gasp!) — but to his credit, he called, apologized profusely, and pulled strings to take off work the next day to make it up to me. We finally got that kayak trip… and from there, everything changed.

We started spending more time together — late-night beach dates under the stars, candles flickering, wine and snacks in hand, wrapped in blankets with the sound of waves nearby. It was on one of those beach nights we realized: this wasn’t just fun. This was love. And we were ready to make it official.

But timing was everything. I was up for a big promotion at work, and with Collin’s dad on the leadership team, I didn’t want anyone thinking my success had anything to do with romance. So we kept our relationship under wraps… until two months later, when I secured the promotion fair and square — then we shared our news!

Since then, we’ve built a beautiful life together. We moved in, and Collin has been my rock — supporting us both while I launched my dream business, HomeIngo, a vacation rental management company. We've now grown to managing 20 listings, hiring staff, and even offering handyman services. Our next goal? Owning our own vacation homes — and turning dreams into legacy.

We feel incredibly blessed for the journey we've shared so far and the one that lies ahead. Every twist and turn has led us here — to the beach, to this celebration, to a future full of love, adventure, and purpose.

All glory to God for writing the best love story we could have never scripted ourselves.

🙋‍♂️ His Version:

So there I was… working hard, building crates at PPi, just doing my thing — and then I noticed her. She was the sharp, confident shipping manager — and my dad was her boss (yeah, I know… plot twist).

She was dating someone at the time, so I played it cool. Eventually, the timing opened up, and I asked if she wanted to go kayaking. She said yes — boom! I was in.

Except… it was my 30th birthday weekend, my friends surprised me with a wild night out, and I totally stood her up. (Not my proudest moment.) But I owned it — I called, apologized, and pulled some serious strings to get the next day off so I could make it up to her. We finally got out on the water… and that was it.

From there, we were inseparable. Beach nights, candlelight, wine — I started falling for her fast. One night, under the stars, we both said it: we were in love.

She was super smart about waiting to go public (promotion politics and all that), but once she got the job, we went all in. We moved in together, and I supported her while she launched HomeIngo — and let me tell you, watching her turn it into a thriving business has been amazing. We’re building something real — and we’re just getting started.

God’s had His hand on our journey the whole way. We’re grateful, excited, and ready for what’s next — starting with a beach wedding and one unforgettable celebration.
