Fly into Dublin and travel by rental car or public transport to the Wicklow Escape.
The Wicklow Escape is about an hour south of Dublin located in the heart of Southeast Ireland’s scenic Wicklow Mountains National Park and nature preserve. For reference, the Escape is situated somewhat in the middle of county Wicklow just outside of Donard village. From the Dublin airport, you would take the M50 (tolls may apply) and connect to N81 passing through Blessington. From there, look for signs mentioning Donard. After turning left toward Donard, an immediate right will be opposite Toomey’s Pub and the Wicklow Escape is just 3km down on the left with signs posted at the entrance.
No hotel blocks have been held as the venue offers all inclusive lodgings for Friday through Sunday morning, however here are some recommended local inns and accommodations as you consider your travel the week of the wedding:

Renting a car in Ireland:
Save money by booking rental car with flights (since Summer is peak season and prices increase and availability will decrease) to pick up upon arrival at Dublin airport. Certain rental companies offer free 48 hr cancellation.
They will need a valid Driver’s license and US Passport
Must have car insurance (usually offered by the rental agency and some agencies include in their price (see New Way all inclusive car rental)
Manual transmission is standard in the UK and Ireland so you’ll have to designate automatic if preferred. It may be possible to save costs by renting a diesel vehicle if available.
Fuel is more expensive in Ireland. You can expect to pay twice, possibly triple gas prices in US.
YES, you will drive on the right side of the vehicle and on the “WRONG” side of the road!
Public Transport to the venue:
It is possible to reach the Escape by taking public transport via a couple of easy connections, especially if you don’t plan on staying in Ireland more than a few days. However, car rental is recommended for traversing more rural areas and quaint remote villages and if you plan to explore more of Ireland while visiting. As a point of reference, the longest commute from the northernmost tip of Ireland to the southernmost is about 8 hours and you can get from Dublin to Galway (East coast to west coast) in about 2.5 hours.
Public transport directions from Dublin airport would be to find the 132 Eireann Bus from the Connolly Luas Bus Stop. Purchase a ticket for Annalecky Cross (bus can be Tullow/Bunclody) which is 16 km from Blessington. Fares will be around €8-€12. Get off there at the Old Tollhouse Pub. The venue recommends having pre-booked a taxi for the 3 minute jaunt from there to the venue (costs about €12) and recommends Dermot Allen. 087 2516623
