Q + A

WHAT TO BRING?

Depending on if you are staying overnight or not here are some items you might want to consider bringing:

Toiletries: Soap, Shampoo/Conditioner, tooth brush, toothpaste, towel etc.

Electronics: Phone chargers etc.

Bedding: Pillow, blankets, sleeping bag, etc.

Food & Drinks: Feel free to bring any drinks, food you would like to contribute/consume. There is a large walk-in fridge and freezer on site. We can put whatever you bring in there or you can use a cooler. (More to come on this)

Games/Water Toys: We have a private swimming area/beach with some kayaks/paddleboards available. If you have any yard games: Corn Hole, Kubb, Frisbee etc. feel free to bring and let us know. If you have any paddleboards/kayaks etc. that you would like to use or share feel free to bring. They can be off loaded right down at the beach area. Bikes are welcome too. You will have access to the entire park, not just the retreat area.

CELL SERVICE/ WIFI?

Cell service is spotty.

WiFi is available but is shared throughout the state park/campground so speeds may vary.

PARKING?

Those staying overnight will not need a parking pass.

Those coming in for the day will need a State Parks pass or buy a day pass at the gate.

One Day Pass= $10 Season Pass= $30

OVERNIGHT STAY

As we said, cabin lodging is free. We are paying for the onsite cabins but we won't say no to donations :-)!

All cabins have 4 twin bunks (8 beds total). Each group of cabins have a shared large restroom nearby with showers etc. You just need to bring twin bedding or a sleeping bag/pillow for yourself. The mattresses seem nice!

We will try to group friends and family together so no one is staying with anyone they don't know. We will definitely communicate with you about this so there won't be any surprises.
