Jennifer and Daniel met in a wedding party. With some influence from the bride and groom, and an open bar later, a relationship started to form. Jennifer however lived in Saint Louis and Daniel in Kansas City. The miles did not deter them from seeing each other though. They began a long distance relationship filled with plenty of phone calls and windshield time for a year and a half. During this time they both got to explore each other’s cities, travel, and Jen got to become a fur mama to Dans dog, Hank, (Who is now a total mamas boy). 
After a year and a half, Daniel and Hank moved to Saint Louis to be with Jennifer. Since then Jen has loved having Hank living with her all the time, and Dan most the time. They enjoy trying out new food places together, walks in Forest Park, the zoo, concerts, and traveling. Jen even got Dan to get a passport for the first time. They also enjoy going to Saint Louis, Chicago, and Kansas City sporting events, although can never find a mutual favorite team. 
On December 8th,2023 at the spot of their first date and first official picture together, the St. Louis zoo lights, Daniel got on one knee and asked Jen to marry him. After a scream of excitement, Jen of course said yes but not before calling Dan an asshole. They are over the moon for their new chapter in life and Hank hasn’t stopped wiggling his butt with excitement for his humans. They are looking forward to celebrate this day with all of their loved ones!
