What should I do if I cannot make it?

Can I bring a date/plus one?
If your invite was made out to "(Your name) & Guest" then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.
Are kids allowed?
Yes, we understand that some of our guests may have difficulty leaving their children behind, and we are happy to welcome them. However, please be aware that you will be responsible for your children's behavior and safety throughout the wedding. We kindly ask that you ensure they are well-supervised and comfortable during the celebration. Thank you!
How can I contribute to your registry?
The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon fund, you may do so by https://www.theknot.com/fallinginlovewiththealonsos/registry or a wedding card can be dropped in the card box at the reception.
What is the attire for the welcome party?
To kick off our wedding weekend, we'll be embracing the charm of chic Western attire! Picture a stylish blend of classic Western elements with a touch of sophistication. Think denim with a touch of lace, elegant cowboy boots, and perhaps a statement hat or belt to add that flair.
What is the attire for the wedding day?
Get ready to kick up your heels and don your most elegant Western black-tie attire, as we're bringing a touch of cowboy charm to our special day!
For the ladies, envision floor-length gowns adorned with a Western twist – perhaps lace or fringe detailing, and don't shy away from statement cowboy boots. Gents, it's time to shine in your finest black-tie ensemble paired with cowboy boots or polished leather shoes. Think classic tuxedos complemented by bolo ties, Western-style cufflinks, or perhaps a tasteful cowboy hat.
Feel free to add your unique flair, whether it's a stylish bolero jacket, a chic Western-inspired clutch, or a well-chosen piece of statement jewelry.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors followed by dinner and dancing indoors.
What will the weather be like?
Tennessee in February is cold! During the day expect highs of 60 degrees and at night lows of 30 degrees. Please dress accordingly!
Will there be shuttle service to and from the venue?
For the safety of our guests, we will be providing shuttle service on our wedding day to and from the venue within a 10 mile radius. Information on the shuttle schedule will be updated at a later date closer to our wedding day.
Is there parking on the property?
For those who would like to drive, there is plenty of parking at the venue.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Since we will be providing shuttle service, shuttles will be arriving every 30 minutes. Guests can arrive starting at 2:30PM for a punctual 3:30pm ceremony start time. We will have a hot chocolate bar for those arriving early!
Can I take pictures at the ceremony?
We are so excited that you'll be joining us, and we want you to relax and be fully present for our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure you see those photos as soon as we do! With this in mind, we ask that you refrain from photos during the ceremony; for the reception? Go wild
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome cocktail party on the evening before our wedding. Details are still being coordinated and will be updated at a later date.
