Through our friends Chris and Janet! After starting a new job, Chris told Jenn, "There's a guy at work that I should introduce you to." Months later, he still hadn't introduced the two of them, and Jenn jokingly asked Janet if she (Jenn) should just message this guy on Facebook. The short answer--yes. Jenn and Zack messaged each other and planned their first date!

Coopers Rock State Park. We stopped at the famous overlook and hiked down to the Henry Clay Furnace. We grabbed dinner then watched movies at Zack's house.

We talked about getting married for a while. When we decided to (finally) make it "official," we went back to Coopers Rock, site of our first date! We got engaged on Friday, May 7, 2021. After a short DIY photoshoot, we picked up a nice dinner and enjoyed a glass of champagne at home.
