In July of 2014 Jennifer and Harry were braving the harrowing world of internet dating when a miracle happened. Jennifer stumbled upon the profile of a man who had saved her in his "favorites". Reading his profile she was forced to ask herself a serious question, "Could this man possibly be real?". She soon sound found out he was very real. And very perfect...for her anyways. On July 11, 2014 they had the best first date of their lives and fell madly in love. A special thank you goes out to the Barkley and their swing band that allowed them to dance straight into each others hearts that night.

The First Date

Fast forward almost two years and we find Jennifer and Harry vacationing in Las Vegas. Harry proposed to the love of his life after arranging a romantic meal at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at the Paris hotel. He perfectly coordinated it with champagne, the Bellagio fountains, a heartfelt speech that would win any girls heart, and of course, a beautiful ring. Well done, Harry. Be still my heart.

Talisa Blount, Maid of Honor

Talisa and Jennifer's 20+ years of friendship began way back in August of 1995. It was move in day of freshman year at Biola University. The infamous site of their first meeting: the bathroom. True kindred spirits they have traveled Europe together (3 times!), shared an apartment, experienced countless adventures, and braved the single world together for years. A wedding day without Talisa as her maid of honor is unimaginable.

Christina Brigida-Silva, Matron of Honor

Born cousins but more sisters of the heart, Christina and Jennifer's relationship is almost as old as Christina is. From the moment they met, they've been "identical twin cousins". They have shared long talks, many glasses of champagne, lived together, and supported each other. Jennifer was Maid of Honor at Christina's beautiful wedding in Chicago and is thrilled that Christina will now reciprocate.

Kimberly Linville, Matron of Honor

Kimberly and Jennifer's relationship began shortly after Jennifer came into the world. As her older sister, Kimberly has been her playmate and general partner in crime growing up. Jennifer would like to take this moment to publicly thank her sister for all the years of automatically getting in the backseat so that the "baby" could sit in the front seat. Jennifer is delighted that her sister will be standing by her side on her big day.

Michael Newton, Bridesman

Jennifer and Michael met in the singles group at Sierra Madre Congregational Church over 10 years ago. Since then, they have developed a deep friendship sustained by God and the idea that you are always loved and accepted no matter what. Jennifer knows that Mike is that person you can always call and thanks him for the years as her partner in crime on their many escapades. Jennifer is moved and thrilled that Mike is willing to stand up with her on her wedding day.

Kristina Freesmeier, Bridesmaid

Kristina and Jennifer are accustomed to being mistaken for sisters (even Kristina's uncle once asked how Jennifer was related!). Perhaps the mistaken identity lies not just in their similar appearance, but in how freakishly similar their personalities are. Since they first met at their school over 14 years ago, they have been thick as thieves. Just as Jennifer can't imagine going to work and not having Kristina to socialize with, Jennifer can't imagine her wedding party without Kristina.

Jycell Delgado, Bridesmaid

A fellow teacher, Jycell and Jennifer met at school. They connected over a deep love of coffee and their crazy sense of humors. The thing Jennifer loves most about Jycell is the way she can talk to her about anything. She makes work more fun and Jennifer knows her wedding party will be more entertaining with Jycell there. Jennifer's honored that Jycell is team bride.

Beth Bonilla, Bridesmaid

Beth and Jennifer's worlds collided at Lakeview Elementary School several years ago. The two were bonded through their shared twisted sense of humor, a penchant for making a musical of every situation, and a deep and abiding love for Target. Jennifer can't wait to hear what song Beth has created for her wedding day. No pressure, Beth.

Bethany Iwamoto, Bridesmaid

Bethany and Jennifer met while students at Biola University. Though they even lived on the same floor at one point, a friendship didn't blossom until they were on the same mission trip team. During their trip to Ukraine, they laughed, cried, and found an enduring friendship. Jennifer was later a bridesmaid in Bethany's wedding and is ecstatic that Bethany will be a bridesmaid for her despite having moved to Iowa.

Amaris Linville, Junior Bridesmaid

Jennifer had the joy of watching her niece, Amaris enter this world. Watching Amaris grow and become the young lady she is has been a joy for Jennifer. Aunt and niece have bonded over their shared love of books and love swapping titles of good reads. Jennifer is excited to have Amaris be a Jr. Bridesmaid.

The Groom's Party

Jason Marshak, Best Man

Jason ended Harry's status as "only child" when Harry was 2 years old. Though he may be younger, Harry has always viewed Jason as a good confidant and someone he can lean on. They've been each other's rock and encouragement during the hard times and each other's rock during the great times. Harry admires his principles and values. Harry is pleased to have his brother stand up with him on his wedding day as best man.

Scott Marshak, Best Man

Scott is the youngest of the Marshak clan. As brothers, they have played together and supported each other through the wonderful times and the sorrowful ones. As a brother, Harry admires his fierce love and devotion towards family- and how he has a genuine love towards all people. He is a true bon vivant and has a big heart. Harry feels honored to have his baby brother as his best man.

Joe Tovar, Groomsman

Joe is Harry's cousin and has been a prominent part of his life since childhood. Bonded by their shared love of the Dodgers (Go Blue!. Joe allowed him to watch HBO and really bad 1980's action movies that would otherwise be forbidden by Mom. Harry and Joe developed a friendship that carried into adulthood. A groomsman at Joe's wedding, Harry is happy to have him return the honor.

Tim Ramos, Groomsman

Harry and Tim first met at Berkeley. Their friendship was cemented after graduation by weekly philosophy sessions with their beverage of choice. It was aided by a healthy shared love of Guns and Roses. Tim has been a solid friend that Harry can depend on. Harry was honored to stand up with Tim at his wedding and looks forward to Tim being part of his groom's party.

John Chang, Groomsman

Harry met John more than 20 years ago while students at Alhambra High School. Most of their bonding moments have happened over great food. Whether their conversations were about sports, relationships, or life lessons, Harry has always appreciated their friendship. John's presence at the wedding is very important to Harry.

Efren Lopez, Groomsman

Harry also met Efren while students at Alhambra High School. They've shared many an adventure, such as traveling at high speeds from Las Vegas to attend The Cure's concert in Irvine- while, mind you, the concert had already ended. Their friendship has been fueled by deep conversations on politics, religion, art and literature. Harry is thrilled that Efren is part of the groom's party.

Jessica Sapoutzis, Groomswoman 

Jessica met Harry while students at the University of California, Berkeley where they become best of friends. Their friendship grew as they experienced and navigated the circus of San Francisco together. For Harry, Jessica is his go-to-person in good times, but also a shoulder in times of need. Harry has always admired her big heart and love of life and all people. Despite currently living in Europe, Harry is touched that Jessica is making a trip home to be a part of the wedding.

Traci Holian, Groomswoman

When she moved in across the hall, Traci became the first person Harry met at Berkeley. Their friendship grew stronger as they endured the challenges and the fun of college life together. Post college they still consider each other great confidants and best of friends. Harry treasures her genuine heart values and is excited that Traci is on the groom's side for the wedding.

Salvador Rovero, Groomsman

Sal met Harry in Pre-School. He was 5 and Harry was 4. Though they only attended school together for that one year, their friendship has stood the test of time and has lasted 35+ years. He has been a constant adventurer with Harry as they explored Los Angeles' eclectic enclaves. Because of their long history with each other, it means the world to Harry to have Sal be a part of his wedding day.

William Wayne, Groomsman

Will met Harry while playing softball as part of the Orphans. They've been known to hang around the environs of Hollywood, usually at any place that they could find 80's music. They've acted together in indie films, shared many a laugh at the Diner, and have a mutual love of baseball. They are each other's best wingmen in life. Harry is happy to have Will be part of his day.

Jesse Dina, Groomsman

Jesse met Harry at the Diner. They found each other to be kindred spirits and instantly shared a twisted, yet fun, sense of humor. That shared laughter and a sense of brotherhood bonded the two. His genuine care for those he considers friends echoes the sense of loyalty that Harry feels and values. Harry is honored that Jesse is going to stand up with him.

Have a meal or a drink (or both). Quirky woodland theme is carried through multiple stories. They offer gourmet food, multiple themed bars, and often live swing music and dancing. Built in the 1920s and recently completely reimagined, it's one of Jennifer and Harry's favorite places to hang out.
